l had my dishnetwork is dish installed but the guy did not find my house is

grounding system so he wanted me to ground it. He pulled the green wire

air duct). My idea is since this AC unit is already grounded, it is safe
to ground my dish on that. Am l right?

The ground on ur AC would ground the dish but it could have

outside, you will notice a heavy, bare, solid wire going to a pipe in the
ground. This is the meters ground. All the grounds in the house eventually
go to this ground. Antennas will work on other electrical devices grounds,
but may pick up electrical interferance, or worse yet, be damaged by
feedback from malfuntioning devices or electrical storms. A direct to
earth ground would be better.
